Emperor’s tomb in northwestern China confirmed to belong to Han dynasty ruler Emperor Wen

Subscribe to our YouTube channel for free here: https://ift.tt/2qHOrkO An ancient tomb found in the northwestern Chinese province of Shaanxi has been confirmed to belong to Emperor Wen of the Han dynasty (202BC-AD220). The link was officially announced on December 14, 2021, four years after the discovery of the site in Jiangcun village in Xian city. The emperor’s final resting place had for centuries been thought to be under the nearby Fenghuangzui or “Phoenix Mouth Mountain”. Archaeologists said they determined the correct location using clues including the structure’s shape and artefacts recovered there. The fifth emperor of the Han dynasty, also known as Liu Heng, reigned between 180-157BC. Daily medical waste levels are said to be twice that of the incinerator’s capacity. From March 19-23, 2022, the city generated over three times more clinical waste each day , compared to the same period in 2021, according to the city’s Environmental Protection Department. Clinical waste refers to potentially harmful substances generated by clinics, hospitals and laboratories, including used syringes and body tissue. They cannot be recycled and must be incinerated or buried in a landfill due to their potential health risks. Heavy reliance on single-use food containers and Covid-19 rapid test kits have also contributed to the rising level of wastes, some of which are now buried in a landfill in the New Territories.
