The dilapidated buildings were constructed by former dictator Saddam Hussein, who visited some of them only once or twice. Many of the buildings are now unused, after Saddam was ousted by a US-led invasion in 2003. The dictator was executed by hanging three years after the conflict. Only a few of the remaining buildings have been refurbished for use as military bases, public administration facilities as well as a museum and university. Fishermen rescued by Korean coast guard in fatal Chinese boat accident #shorts

Search teams with the Korean coast guard have pulled another fisherman from the sea after rescuing at least 12 others in a fatal fishing boat accident off the southwestern coast of South Korea. Fifteen men were working on the Chinese vessel when it capsized in rough seas, killing at least four fishermen. The South Korean coast guard is continuing the search on October 21, 2021, for at least two people who remain missing.
