Hong Kong reopens inflatable Covid-19 test lab after city’s surge exceeds 1,600 cases a day

The latest wave of cases in recent weeks has grown with daily infections spiking to 1,600. The temporary lab consists of 16 air-inflated chambers with around 100 testing facilities designed to handle 10,000 samples per day. About 400 medical staff from Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland will work in the lab to process the samples.
