Chinese FM Wang Yi to meet top US diplomat in Bali after visits to Southeast Asian counterparts

He visited Myanmar on July 4, 2022, for the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation, meeting with diplomats from Cambodia, Thailand, Laos, Myanmar and Vietnam. Wang is the most senior Chinese official to visit Myanmar since the February 2021 military coup. Wang later stopped off in Thailand for talks with the country's prime minister Prayuth Chan-ocha before travelling to Bali, Indonesia, where he is expected to hold face-to-face talks with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken during a G20 session on July 7-8. Fishermen rescued by Korean coast guard in fatal Chinese boat accident #shorts

Search teams with the Korean coast guard have pulled another fisherman from the sea after rescuing at least 12 others in a fatal fishing boat accident off the southwestern coast of South Korea. Fifteen men were working on the Chinese vessel when it capsized in rough seas, killing at least four fishermen. The South Korean coast guard is continuing the search on October 21, 2021, for at least two people who remain missing.
