Tributes pour in for Hong Kong actor Kenneth Tsang Kong, who has died aged 87

Subscribe to our YouTube channel for free here: https://ift.tt/8o7rzJi Veteran Hong Kong actor Kenneth Tsang Kong was found dead on April 27, 2022, in a Tsim Sha Tsui hotel-quarantine room after returning from Singapore. He was staying in the room on his own. The 87-year-old actor had appeared in more than 220 films after obtaining a degree in architecture at the University of California, Berkeley, in the United States. Speaking fluent English, he starred in Hollywood productions such as The Replacement Killers in 1998 and played a supporting role in the 2002 James Bond movie Die Another Day. Tsang won Best Supporting Actor at the 34th Hong Kong Film Awards in 2015 for his role in the crime thriller Overheard 3. He had reportedly tested negative for Covid-19, had been vaccinated with 3 doses and had no chronic illness. Daily medical waste levels are said to be twice that of the incinerator’s capacity. From March 19-23, 2022, the city generated over three times more clinical waste each day , compared to the same period in 2021, according to the city’s Environmental Protection Department. Clinical waste refers to potentially harmful substances generated by clinics, hospitals and laboratories, including used syringes and body tissue. They cannot be recycled and must be incinerated or buried in a landfill due to their potential health risks. Heavy reliance on single-use food containers and Covid-19 rapid test kits have also contributed to the rising level of wastes, some of which are now buried in a landfill in the New Territories.
