Door-to-door vaccine services for housebound elderly and disabled residents in Hong Kong

The Hong Kong Council of Social Service and the Federation of Medical Societies of Hong Kong aim to inoculate 10,000 residents. The scheme comes as the government tries to boost the vaccination rate among the elderly amid a fifth Covid-19 wave. Over 95 per cent of the more than 8,300 Covid-related deaths recorded in the fifth wave were aged at least 60.
