Taiwanese airline Starlux pushes Airbus for faster deliveries as it eyes North American expansion

In an April 19, 2023, interview, Starlux CEO Glenn Chai said that the five wide-body planes the company expects to receive from Airbus by next year are not enough to keep pace with exploding demand after a pandemic slump. Starlux will launch a new route from Taipei to Los Angeles at the end of April, and eventually hopes to expand to other US cities as well as Australia and Europe.
