Philippines rebukes Beijing for 'dangerous manoeuvres' in South China Sea

Manila said a Chinese vessel made “dangerous manoeuvres” near a Philippine ship, endangering its crew. For its part, Beijing said Philippine vessels crossed into Chinese waters and that its coast guard’s response was “professional” and “restrained”. The Philippines said more than 100 Chinese ships and boats were detected inside its 200-mile exclusive economic zone April 18-24.
