Hong Kong leader hints of possible easing of Covid-19 restrictions as city records 21,650 new cases

She conceded the public’s tolerance for harsh anti-epidemic measures was “fading”. Lam’s comments came as the city recorded 21,650 new cases, inching the total number of reported infections in the city closer to 1 million.
