Lu Yuguang was with a group of other journalists on their way to interview local residents when they were hit by the shelling. Lu suffered cuts to his hand while seeking shelter. The senior correspondent is one of the few foreign reporters embedded with Russian troops covering the war from various cities in Ukraine.
