Award-winning US journalist and filmmaker Brent Renaud killed in Ukraine

Two others were injured in the shooting, including fellow American journalist Juan Arrendondo, who was taken to hospital. The pair were attempting to film refugees in the Ukrainian city of Irpin when they were reportedly attacked at a checkpoint. Ukrainian officials blamed Russian forces for the attack. Renaud was working in the region for Time Studios, according to a statement from the company.
