Taliban opens fire to disperse Afghan women’s rally one year since regaining power

A group of around 40 women marched to the education ministry, chanting “bread, work and freedom” and “Justice, justice. We’re fed up with ignorance”, until the Taliban broke up the crowd. Taliban members also tore protesters’ banners and seized their mobile phones, according to one of the march organisers.
