3,700kg of explosives used to demolish illegal skyscrapers in Noida near India’s capital

Nearly 3,700kg (8,160lbs) of explosives was used to turn the 32-storey and 29-level residential towers to dust in about 10 seconds. Officials said it could take up to three months to dispose of the debris left behind at the site in the suburb of Noida.
