The pilot programme, which went online in November of 2021, uses heated water vapour produced at a nearby nuclear power plant. If successful, it could eventually be expanded to replace the city’s 12 coal-fired power plants and in turn help China achieve its zero-carbon emissions target. Fishermen rescued by Korean coast guard in fatal Chinese boat accident #shorts

Search teams with the Korean coast guard have pulled another fisherman from the sea after rescuing at least 12 others in a fatal fishing boat accident off the southwestern coast of South Korea. Fifteen men were working on the Chinese vessel when it capsized in rough seas, killing at least four fishermen. The South Korean coast guard is continuing the search on October 21, 2021, for at least two people who remain missing.
