Visitors return to China’s Harbin ice festival after Covid restrictions ease

Subscribe to our YouTube channel for free here: https://ift.tt/J4FKjyx The Chinese city of Harbin has seen a spike in visitors to its annual ice and snow festival which is being held for the first time in three years without strict zero-Covid pandemic restrictions. The capital city of China’s northernmost province of Heilongjiang normally draws huge crowds to see attractions such as the ice sculptures created for the event, but Covid-19 had reduced tourism to a trickle. The festival began in late December 2022 and is scheduled to continue until February 28, 2023.
