The country’s crocodile farms, which used to export to Taiwan, Hong Kong and China, are now finding growing demand for the tasty but tough meat at home. On average, some 20,000 crocodiles are now slaughtered for their meat each month in Thailand, a doubling of demand that has some farmers wondering if they can keep up.
