A pilot flew the two-seat model, made by German manufacturer Volocopter, to test control and coordination of the system’s urban air mobility (UAM). In 2020, the country announced a roadmap to begin commercial urban air travel between major airports and downtown Seoul by 2025. The service has been estimated to cut travel time by two-thirds for distances between 30-50km (19-31 miles). At the Airshow China 2021 in Zhuhai, the PLA Air Force announced that the country’s most advanced stealth fighter, the J-20, will stop using Russian engines in favour of an upgraded home-grown engine. The series of yearly plenums are held in between each national congress, which happens every five years. During this plenum, the Central Committee passed the “Resolution of the CCP Central Committee on the Major Achievements and Historical Experiences of the Party’s Centennial Struggle”, which was only the third of its kind in the party’s 100-year history.
