But the actual number may be much higher. Ritu Saini was a victim of a horrific acid attack 11 years ago. Working at a cafe in the Indian city of Rohtak in Haryana state, Saini has since been serving as an advocate for fellow acid attack victims by campaigning for the rights of survivors and volunteering to help victims get treatment.
