The report issued on March 24, 2023, also said Pyongyang launched cruise missiles as part of exercises to practise nuclear attack missions. The tests took place as South Korean and US militaries carried out joint drills, which the North said are stoking tensions in the region. Seoul and Washington said their annual exercises were strictly for defence purposes.
