Halloween horror on Tokyo train injures 17 as stabber dressed as ‘Joker’ sets fire to carriage

Subscribe to our YouTube channel for free here: https://ift.tt/2qHOrkO Japanese police have arrested a 24-year-old man who, dressed as the Batman villain the Joker, used a kitchen knife to attack and injure 17 passengers riding on a Tokyo-bound train on Halloween night. Police said the suspect, who identified himself as Kyota Hattori, also set fire to the carriage as it came to a stop at Kokuryo Station in Chofu. After the October 31, 2021, incident, the suspect also reportedly told police he hoped to kill at least two people so he would receive the death penalty, and that he was inspired by a similar attack in August 2021. Daily medical waste levels are said to be twice that of the incinerator’s capacity. From March 19-23, 2022, the city generated over three times more clinical waste each day , compared to the same period in 2021, according to the city’s Environmental Protection Department. Clinical waste refers to potentially harmful substances generated by clinics, hospitals and laboratories, including used syringes and body tissue. They cannot be recycled and must be incinerated or buried in a landfill due to their potential health risks. Heavy reliance on single-use food containers and Covid-19 rapid test kits have also contributed to the rising level of wastes, some of which are now buried in a landfill in the New Territories.
