15,650 runners take part in first Hong Kong Marathon since Covid-19 pandemic

The number of participants allowed to take part in the three races – the full marathon, half marathon and 10km race – was reduced from 74,000 to 18,500 as part of pandemic precautions. All runners also had to be fully vaccinated two weeks before the event.
