Foxconn dangles incentives for workers as iPhone shortages plague holiday season

The company usually hires about 300,000 workers during the holiday season. But the factory’s labour shortage was due to two rounds of mass worker exodus, one in October over Covid-19 fears and another in November after the company reportedly backtracked on hiring incentives.
